CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba arrived in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday, 12 February 2024 to kick-off a four-day visit to the next AFCON host country.
This is Mosengo-Omba’s first visit in 2024. Last year, he made several working visits in the country including to the venues that will host next year’s TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations.
For the next four days, he will be joined by Ivorian Football Association (FIF) President Idriss Yaccine Diallo, LOC Chairman Albert Francois Amichia and CAF staff members.
On Monday, he will be in Bouake visiting stadiums and also some venues related to hosting of the competition, then proceed to Korhogo on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he will be Yamoussoukro and San Pedro on Thursday.
On Friday, Mosengo-Omba will conclude his visit in Abidjan.
